as christians, we need to be the messengers, the bringers of good news, the delivers of the gospel to our nation that has forgot what real, true, faithful, devine, holy, sacred christianity really is, and what it truly stands for. we need to tell the people to stop worrying about the politics and start worrying about the truth and there eternal life, and how much there real father actually loves, so much that he died FOR YOU. thank you Lord for all your blessings and we will continue to bless in the days to come

so am i the only one to get something out of the painting michelangelo did a really long time ago in the sistine chapel? i highly doubt it, but when i was roaming around google this image showed up and it made me think

if were anything like Adam in the picture, yea God is there, hes stretching as far as he possibly can, but were not doing anything to help him connect with us, we might move our fingers but were not moving our bodys, heart, mind and soul to help grow closer to God, maybe you and maybe im wrong, but thats how i feel, even myself, dont think im any closer than you are but im starting to stretch more and more everyday.

next thing, ive come to the realization that life is like eating chicken wings. not just wieny chicken wings from kfc or something but real hot wings, like at hooters or buffalo wild wings or whever you prefer. yea talk crap about hooters either, its not like the girls at school dont dress like that or even worse, so no that isnt why i go there….but.

life is like eating chicken wings? how? why chicken wings?

well i was dining at hooters recently and started to look at my meal more than just food. i started trying to put in a life perspective, and i honestly think i did a good job.

when you first get there they say welcome to hooters and thats kinda like being born how your very welcomed into the world. and once you sit down they ask you what you want to drink and i always answer with “diet pepsi, please” and they say, “is coke ok?” and i say “yea, diet.” i think thats like how pepsi is more appealing (because most restaurants support that liberal company so we get used to asking for it) to everyone which is the devil and sin and more people tend to stray away from God who is the pepsi products. so i get a full class of ice cold refreshing God diet-coke (with cherry mmhmm)

when your little you dont have many problems so God is very aparent in your life and at hooters before your meal you usually dont drink that much, maybe just a few sips, so thats kinda like whenever your a kid and you just have an expierence with him a couple times.

whenever your wings arive, i think that the wings symbolize life and the struggles and trials it throws at you. if your a real man you get them hot. so its gonna take a lot of diet coke (GOD) to wash them down.

so your eating your wings and there almost to hot to touch but you keep digging in. thats like you know that sin is bad but you still keep doing it. you finish a wing and realize that you need some more God in your life so you drink some more diet coke to get re-filled.

whenever the wings are to hott to keep eating your diet-coke (GOD) is still there for you whenever you need it. and if you notice the diet-coke is never ending you get free refills just like God, he is always there for you.

and the the napkins, yes the napkins, are like forgivness that he gives us, when you get some wings or sin on you the napkins are a gift from God to wipe them away and be brand new and start all over.

i truly believe that life can be compared to a casual trip to hooters.

college.
it’s a lot lot lot different than i ever expected, all the people i’ve met are totally awesome.
and i think “this is home” is the theme song to this journey i’m about to go on.

not so much school, but figuring out who i truly am. and getting to know the real me, away from what i’ve known was home for so long
and i’m not saying that, that isn’t my home anymore, it is.

but i mean i’ve been doing the same same same same thing for over 18 years now, and this is great chance for me to change myself for the better, grow in faith, grow in friends, and grow a little taller maybe?

this place is just my new home
and i couldn’t be more excited…

i hate politics a lot, even more now.
i dont watch the news or listen to whats going anymore, because frankly i dont care.
but my dad told me about this today, and it urked my nerves a lot.

the fact that he killed the fly is besides the point.
its actually pretty impressive.

but PETA got super pissed off about this.

they got pissed off that president killed a FLY!

yes God created flies, but God created people. and PETA doesnt get mad when mr. hussein supports abortion….

WEIRD MUCH?!?!

according to PETA he can kill all the babies, and take away human life, but as soon as he kills a fly who only lives for a couple days all hell breaks loose. something isnt right, something isnt right with america, and how freaking stupid we are!

in the chapter mark of the bible
Jesus is speaking to tons and tons and tons of people
talking in all of the parables.

1 Again he began to teach beside the sea. And a very large crowd gathered (see that means tons and tons and tons of people) about him, so that he got into a boat and sat in it on the sea, and the whole crowd was beside the sea on the land. 2 And he was teaching them many things in parables, and in his teaching he said to them: 3 “Listen! A sower went out to sow. 4 And as he sowed, some seed fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured it. 5 Other seed fell on rocky ground, where it did not have much soil, and immediately it sprang up, since it had no depth of soil. 6 And when the sun rose, it was scorched, and since it had no root, it withered away. 7 Other seed fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no grain. 8 And other seeds fell into good soil and produced grain, growing up and increasing and yielding thirtyfold and sixtyfold and a hundredfold.” 9 And he said, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

The good soil and the seeds that yielded thirtyfold and sixtyfold and so forth are the people who take to heart what Jesus has come to this world to preach about. That path is Gods path for every single one of us. But sometimes we may hit the rocky paths or picked up by something else along the way that may get us distracted or prevent us from coming to our goal.

But my favorite part about this passage is verse 9.

And he said, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

last time i checked, i have ears, you have ears
EVERYONE HAS EARSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This right here is Jesus telling us that no matter what path you go town or dragged on. His plan for you is always going to prevail and be the right on.

Let everyone who has hears, hear. And if you hear these good works and about Jesus giving everything for you. go out and do something about it.

the book soul cravings explains it the best….”Really, its absurd to think that any religion would somehow get you closer to God.”

as i sit here.
listening to gavin degraw.
my mind starts to wonder, to places that are far far away.
things i think about from time to time, and gavin degraw has nothing to do with it, his music is just chill.
and the question always comes down to the question of life.

why?
i have no idea.

i guess it’s just a thing that were naturally going to think about all the time.
wait, just kidding.

i do know why.

“You clothed me with skin and flesh,

and your care has preserved my spirit.
Yet these things you hid in your heart;
I know that this was your purpose.

we think about life.
because that is Gods gift to us.
he gave us life.
and he offers us eternal life.
yes, eternity.
FOREVER!!!!!

as human beings.
we make things very complicated.
from relationships with people of the opposing sex.
to picking someone to lead this misinformed nation.
deciding what we want to wear to school that morning.
the song we want to listen to on our drive to work or school.
the people we surround ourselves with, those we choose to fellowship with.
we make things so difficult.

and im not telling you to just stop caring.
that wouldn’t solve anything
(and by this point in the blog im starting to ramble)
but.

just live your life.
make those decisions.
not to impress anyone.
but do it for yourself.
do it for the one who gave it all.
selfish is the last thing God wanted us to be.

haha, there is the restaurant food chain in north carolina only (i learned the other day).

its called Cookout, and it rules.

a lot.

a whole tray of food for 5 bucks.

and some change.

with a large soda or tea.

i always choose soda, basically because diet coke is the greatest invention.

ever.

and on the cup you get it.

it says…”John 3:16.”

and on the opposite side, it says…”God Bless America.”

and when you first read it, they kinda sound like they may go together haha.

i really wish i had a picture, i may take one next time i have a cup.

but i’ve never really thought about until recently.

that verse in someway does actually say God Bless America.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”-John 3:16

you hear people always laughing (haha) making fun of that on the cup.

i think it is a brilliant idea.

God Blessed America by giving us his SON!!!

ONLY SON!

but when is america going to open their eyes to receive the blessing?

God has plenty blessed america.

we have all the riches in the world.

spend more money on bubble gum than probably a whole nation has in the currency all together.

im not sure if that is actually true, but its probably close.

but as americans, we’re blessed because we have the FREEDOM to choose the praise we wish to participate in.

but why is everyone so lazy?

im not the best at it, but at least im not sitting on my butt. (well i am right now, typing this)

but as americans, can we not stop sitting here

asking God to bless us even more.

when he already has?

God has big plans for us.

he tells us this in the book of Habakkuk.
